Contributing Writer

Calvin is a Contributing Writer at Strait Journal. Covers the neighborhoods: block clubs, community programs, the people who keep a street going, and the city's teams from the pros down to the rec leagues.

Grew up going to games with his uncle and still keeps the ticket stubs. Thinks the best seat in the city is wherever the neighborhood is watching together.

Coaches a little league team on weekends, mostly by bringing the snacks.

Joined the masthead in 2026.
