Marble Bar turned 10 on October 3 and 4, 2025, and marked the occasion by booking Octave One live and Danny Daze on the same weekend and letting the room handle the rest.
The anniversary ran across two nights. Saturday featured Octave One performing live, which at Marble Bar means the brothers Burden doing what they have been doing in Detroit since before most of the crowd could legally be in the room. Danny Daze played the same night. Waajeed went back to back with LADYMONIX the next day. BMG and Haute to Death filled in the rest of the bill.
Ten years is a long run for any club. It is an especially long run for a Detroit venue that programs techno as its actual core product instead of as a decorative layer on top of something else. Plenty of rooms in the city claim the scene. Marble Bar has been booking it, paying it, and sending people home happy at 4 a.m. for a decade.
The anniversary did not come with a reinvention. No rebrand, no new visual identity, no press release about the next chapter. The club turned 10 by doing exactly what it has done for the other ten years.
Marble Bar is at 1501 Holden Street in New Center.
